Third Mission

The Department of Architecture is an open and actively engaged institution in the Third Mission, which includes research activities aimed at technology transfer and scientific support for external entities and institutions. The goal is to foster dialogue with society and enhance cultural impact in social and economic development.

The service role of the Department of Architecture towards the territory and community is also realized through the creation of spin-offs and entrepreneurial initiatives, which originate in academic research settings and later develop independently.

Research centers and laboratories within the Department organize exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and workshops in collaboration with local administrations, public institutions, and businesses. These events are open to the public and serve as opportunities to encourage participatory discussions.
